e-Learning and Teaching Programme
Aimed at classroom practitioners and heads of departments the e-Learning and Teaching Programmes are designed to support the development of reflective practitioners.
The e-Learning and Teaching Programme aims to:
• Showcase best practice in relation to learning and teaching
• Support research led practice within schools with a focus on impact
• Develop reflective and future focused practitioners
Spanning two academic terms these face-to-face professional development days are enhanced by a range of online professional development opportunities, tools and associated resources to aid practitioners continually trial and innovate. Each participant is also assigned a personal learning mentor throughout the programme.
Day 1 - The reflective and learner centred practitioner
• Developing a rationale for learning for the 21st Century
• The learner centred practitioner and the learner centred classroom
• Developing a research led approach to improve learning and quality of outcomes
• Models for reflecting on and improving classroom practice
Day 2 - The creative and future focused practitioner
• The role of new technologies in learning and the latest information from horizon scanners
• Developing a vision for learning in the future and what this means for classroom practice
• The creative practitioner and the implications of this for developing the creative classroom
• Models for continuous improvement and sharing of innovative practice
e-Learning and Teaching programmes will be running from January 2012 and registration opens at the end of September. Face-to-Face days are Day 1 January 2012 and Day 2 Late May 2012/June 2012.
We are also able to provide bespoke ‘e-Learning and Teaching Programmes’ for a school or cluster of schools. Please contact us if you feel this would support your change management plans better.
Cost: £495 for two days. Please note this payment can be split over two academic years, first payment of £250 pre day 1 and second payment of £245 pre Day 2.
